2008 Hawaii Agriculture Conference: Growing with Intention is scheduled for September 4 & 5 at the Hawaii Convention Center. The All Ag Day is on Thursday Sept. 4, 2008. On Friday Sept. 5, 2008, three additional events are occurring: 13th Annual Hawaii MIDPAC Horticultural Conference: Strengthening Our Industry Through Knowledge; Bioenergy Master Plan: A Conversation with Hawaii’s Agriculture Sector and Growing the Next Generation: a Partnership with Future Farmers of America. Both days will be organized and promoted together. 2008 Hawaii Agriculture Conference will feature Keynote Speakers, Seminars and Workshops, a 2-day Tradeshow and Poster Exhibit, and, of course, the wonderful Hawaii Food and Agriculture Products Luncheon.

Hawaii farmers, ranchers, flower growers, exporters, researchers, government leaders and administrators and other industry members will attend sessions featuring conversations and learning about Change, Innovation and Sustainability. How can we look at these important concepts and grow with intention? How can your company be a partner in this important work for the ag sector? Exhibit booths are limited, so sign up today!

Tradeshow Exhibit booth opportunities are available for $500 for businesses and $250 for nonprofit organizations. Sponsorship opportunities click here  are also available, starting at $1,500.

Move-in: Thursday Sept. 4, 2008 6:00 am – 8:00 am
Event: Thursday Sept. 4, 2008 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Friday Sept. 5, 2008 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
Move-out: Friday Sept. 5, 2008 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Booth Rental for 2 days

  • $500 For Profit Businesses
  • $250 Non Profit Organizations and Government

All booths include the following:

  • 8x10’ area with 1 - 6’ dressed table and 2 chairs
  • Exhibitor registration for 1 (does not include conference session attendance or luncheon)
  • Company literature included in conference bag
  • Acknowledgement in the Conference collateral
  • Exhibitor’s Coffee Service, Networking Breaks

  • Requests for additional chairs, electricity, box lunch orders, internet hook up, food sampling, and freight handling must be made with the exhibit coordinator prior to the Conference.
  • Internet fees will be assessed directly between the vender and the Convention Center. (click here for details)

Please NOTE: The Hawaii Convention Center will not receive any shipments or deliveries.

Lunch Options

  • $100 Special Rate for Conference on Thursday, including luncheon
  • $20 Box Lunch for each day*

Tradeshow Exhibit Space does not include conference registration or lunch. One (1) person from your organization may attend the conference on Thursday at the special exhibitor rate of $100. All other participants from your organization must register at the regular conference rate ($125). *A box lunch prepared by the Hawaii Convention Center Catering Service maybe ordered for either Thursday and/or Friday.

Security: Please protect your own merchandise and cash during exhibit hours. Security will not be provided. The room will be secured during non-exhibit hours, however, it is suggested that you remove any valuables overnight.

Deadline: Deadline for online, mail in and faxed registration for tradeshow is Friday Aug. 15, 2008. Form of payment must accompany the registration. Credit card numbers submitted with registration will be processed upon receipt. Registrations will not be processed without payment.

Refunds: Requests for refunds will be received at the UH Conference Center by Wednesday, August 27, 2008, in writing (email, fax or post). No refunds will be made thereafter. Please allow approximately three to five weeks for processing.
