The Hawaii Department of Education Natural Resources (NR) Pathway Program and the Hawaii FFA
provide high school students opportunities in agricultural science
education, leadership development and career planning.
The NR Pathway Program is working to collaborate with industry to
create partnerships between schools and businesses to further
opportunities and prepare students for careers in agriculture and natural
resources through internships, job shadowing, training and post secondary
education.
Students and Teachers will be interacting with conference participants
in breakout sessions and the trade show to learn about upcoming
agricultural trends and technologies.
There will also be presentations geared towards educating students
about entrepreneurship and agricultural sciences.
